Dr. Brandon Hauck

Dr. Brandon Hauck grew up in Humboldt, IA about 30 minutes from Eagle Grove. He graduated from Humboldt High School in 2007. He then attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA where he played baseball for 2 years and graduated in 2011 with a major in biology and a minor in leadership.

Dr. Hauck obtained his optometric education and training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He graduated in May of 2015 with academic honors as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa. During his time at SCO, he completed an externship at the Memphis VA and at a private practice in Senatobia, MS. He was involved in optometric private practice club, intramural sports, and provided care for those in need during a RAM (Rural Area Medical) trip in rural Tennessee.

Dr. Hauck focuses on full-scope optometry including ocular disease, pediatrics, scleral contact lenses, and co-manages cataract and LASIK surgical care. He is a member of the Iowa Optometry Association, the American Optometry Association, and serves as the liaison for the Iowa Optometry Assistant Association. Dr. Hauck is married to Kelsey who worked as a nurse with her BSN in Memphis and then in Fort Dodge before joining the Broadway Vision Source team in January 2021. They have two children, Amelia and Miles, along with several family pets. Dr. Hauck is a Rotary Club Member and involved with the Eagle Grove Chamber board. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fishing, grilling, and watching the Twins, Hawkeyes, and Vikings.
